Hey guys, don't forget to like, comment, and subscribe!Outro Song: Novus by SterlingArcher700Song Link: watching. Game activity shows Garry's Mod instead of Half-Life 2: Deathmatch. The 'Game activity' feature shows that I'm playing Garry's Mod on the bottom left corner, but Discord shows that I'm playing Half-Life 2 in both the member's right bar and in the 'Game activity' menu in the options (which is not correct because I'm actually playing Half-Life 2. GMod 10 (aka Garry's Mod) is available for purchase through Steam, and is the only version being updated. Jun 04, 2017 hl2.exe deleted Hello i was in a normal day, i turn on my computer, and it says 'Garry's Mod Is Updating', so i wait and it says what hl2.exe dont is in my garrys mod folder, i press the verify cache data and it says what there isnt 1 file in the folder and it will download again, i press the gmod play button and it doesnt work, the problem.

Whenever I launch the game Garry's Mod, before the main menu loads the game crashes and a text box opens saying 'hl2.exe has stopped working: A problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available.'
I have tried reinstalling the game and entering fixes other threads have suggested into the command prompt. nothing has worked so far, and I'm hoping some one can help out.
I've never had a problem running the game on my old computer running XP, but my new Vista seems to be unable to play the game.

After exiting Prop Hunt (a game mode of Garry's Mod from Steam), I get MalwareBytes reporting the following two IP addresses as being blocked.

Hl2.exe Funktioniert Nicht Mehr Garry's Mod

1) 188.165.2.12

2) 198.27.64.67

This happens pretty much every time I play the game. I have downloaded many maps/textures/taunts from Steam so I don't know how to isolate the problem.

I was sent here (http://www.symantec.com/security_response/) to report the problem from Symantec chat, but I couldn't find where to report the problem. That is the purpose of this post.
